See How Memorable Your Profile Pictures Are With the MIT MemNet Algorithm
If you want your profile to stand out on social media and on dating sites , a catchy photo is essential. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology claims that their new MemNet algorithm can predict how memorable your photos are, almost as accurately as human ones, and you can test it yourself.
According to a study by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), the algorithm performs better than any existing image processing algorithms and is close to replicating human work. If you’re wondering how good your own photos are, you can test them out on theirLaMem demo page . After uploading the photo, you will receive a score from zero to one. In the example image above, the score is 0.93, which means that 93% of people viewing this image will remember it after 100 seconds. It may seem short-lived at first, but when you think about how many photos people view when they browse social media and dating sites, it’s probably enough to make you more memorable overall. You can read more about CSAIL research here , and you can try the MemNet algorithm on yourself at the link below.
