Start Your Daily Journaling Habit With This Simple Template

Daily diary – a habit that gives a lot of great benefits , for example, to deal with the emotions, focus on goals and develop creative abilities . If you’re unsure of where to start, this simple template will help you get the ball rolling.

As with most things, the hardest part about journaling is getting started. Maybe you already have a nice diary and a pen, but when you open it, you end up looking at the pages and wondering what to write. You’re not alone! This is why Thanh Pham of Asian Efficiency provided a great template to start your daily journaling:

  • What happened to you that day (events).
  • Results, tasks, questions. Results are the big things you want to accomplish throughout the day. Tasks are smaller steps towards achieving results.
  • Record 3 achievements.
  • Questions (all optional, choose whatever you want):
  • What have I read?
  • What have I learned?
  • What have I done to help my future?
  • How did I help someone today?
  • Who do I love?
  • What am I grateful for?

Journals allow you to record the memories you want to keep, show yourself the progress you’ve made over time, and give you the ability to record your personal history. Once you get into the habit of writing something every day, you can begin to get more creativity, reflection, and research on your own.
