How to Pack for a Weekend Trip
Last weekend I went to Hudson, NY to enjoy some really good food . I grabbed my good old Condor 3 Day Assault Backpack and followed this advice on how to pack for the weekend. The video says that I have to pack only what is strictly necessary, but just in case I added three more underpants (because there are always not enough underpants).
Basically, you have to put everything you want to take with you first, thinking about each day and event of the trip. Be critical of your own choices and get rid of everything that is not fundamental – stick to the most important.
Always roll up T-shirts, jeans and underwear – anything that doesn’t wrinkle.
Another good tip is to create “casual outfits” by rolling up your socks and underwear inside the T-shirt . If you are using long socks, fold the ends around the folded T-shirt to make it more compact. You can also roll up your socks and slip them over your shoes. You can align the straps to the sides of your back or roll them up over the collar of your shirt to avoid crushing. Leave shirts and other items that might wrinkle for last.
