Install Kodi on IOS, No Jailbreak Required
We saw a couple of apps get around Apple’s restrictions by manually installing them using the newer version of Xcode, which no longer requires a paid developer account. On the Kodi forums, DanTheMan827 shows you how to install the Cydia version of Kodi on a phone without jailbreaking using a similar approach.
The basics here are pretty simple. You will grab the Kodi Cydia file, create a custom profile, and then navigate from there. Basically, this is repurposing the Cydia app and manually installing it using Xcode 7 , which is nothing new, but the fact that you no longer need a developer account makes it more accessible.
