Clean Sticky Playing Cards With Cornstarch
After a while, playing cards may become a little sticky. Instead of dealing with frustrations or just throwing them away, rub down these cards with a little cornstarch.
Cornstarch is a great product. Aside from cooking, you can use it to clean up spills , fix squeaky floorboards, and even help untie tight knots . You can also use it to get rid of the sticky residue that your playing cards collect as you play. Simply toss the loose cards into a paper bag and add a couple of teaspoons of cornstarch. Shake the bag lightly, pour the cards onto a towel and dry them off. The cornstarch will absorb oils and residues so you don’t need to get them wet.
