Stop Thinking Too Much About Sleep to Wake up Full of Energy the Next Day.
When you go to bed late and realize that you have only a few hours of sleep available, you are sure that the next day will be hell. But this may not happen. Perhaps the biggest battle with sleep is in our heads.
Of course, insomnia and other sleep problems are definitely problems. However, an occasional late night or sleep-delaying bouts may not be a cause for concern. Darius Foro states on Medium that the only way to sleep we need is to stop worrying about sleep:
But if you sleep less from time to time, this is not the end of the world. You can still be effective if you sleep 5 hours a night. Just don’t make it a habit.
The next time you go to bed late because of a party or are working on your dream, tell yourself that you will be good in the morning.
Since I applied Carnegie’s advice, my energy level has been consistently 8. It happens that I cannot sleep, but I don’t attach much importance to it – I stop thinking about sleep and think about something. more.
I think that perhaps the simple act of telling yourself that you will wake up in the morning energized and in a good mood could change the odds of it happening in your favor. At the very least, this is much better than predicting that you will feel like crap the next day.
