Large containers usually have spouts on one side, and trying to pour this liquid in the same way as you would from a small container, with the spout closer to the ground, is a fairly natural reaction. As Tested points out, this is a recipe for clutter.
Large one-gallon or even five-gallon cans should be poured with the spout side up. Thanks to this, the liquid will pour out beautifully and smoothly.
