Don’t Buy Bundt Pot, Make Your Own

If you’re the type of person who loves to bake from time to time, the Bundt Frying Pan is one of those kitchen items that seem important, but only occasionally. The other 364 days of the year they take up a lot of space, especially if you have a small kitchen. There aren’t that many brownies to bake, and while a pound of frozen waffle is pretty good , it’s still not enough to justify Bundt’s whole pan ass taking up top-notch real estate in your closet.

The solution – other than borrowing one from a friend, only to forget to return it, thus straining your friendship – is to assemble a homemade Bundt pan from the items you already have. This kitchen trick was showcased this week on Instagram by Jocelyn Delk Adams of Grandbaby Cakes .

To make your own Bundt cake pan, take a round baking dish and place a small empty jar in the middle. Fill an empty jar with rice to weigh it down. Here is your DIY Bundt Frying Pan. When you have a frying pan, you need to coat the inside with a lot of non-stick spray, add the cake batter and bake.

Bundt pans are not just for cake

While everyone thinks of pie when they think of the Bundt frying pan, the Bundt frying pan also has a number of savory uses, many of which are pretty clever.

For example, you can bake a loaf of bread in Bundt’s frying pan to make an underwater sandwich that looks like a giant donut. Bundt pans are also ideal for roasting large quantities of jalapeno poppers or for making lasagne, each slice of which has a crisp, tasty edge. I suppose if you are going to use it for all this , you can splurge on a real deal, but now you know what you don’t need.
