Make It Easy for Tiny Digital Cameras With a DIY Pen
There are some really good cameras out there that are incredibly small and can be frustrating if you have big hands. This DIY handle makes shooting with a tiny camera more like shooting a massive DSLR and acts like a stand so you can mount your camera anywhere without fear of damaging it.
This custom setup from youtuber- thefrugalfilmaker known as “Frugal Fattener 2” uses multiple bracket pieces, some quick release camera systems, and a foam handle to create a comfortable grip on the camera. It allows for better control over shooting with a small camera, and it even has room to easily remove the battery and SD card without removing the camera completely. The Sony NEX 5n is used as a demo in the video, but it’s not the only camera this grip will do well with. In fact, you can use this grip with just about any type of tripod-mounted camera.
