Blur the Image to Make Your Own Simple and Unoccupied Phone Wallpaper

Many of us don’t like downloaded wallpapers on phones, but that doesn’t mean you have to search for blurry wallpapers on Google. MacSparky’s David Sparks notes that this is easy enough.

Spark has a guide on how to use Pixelmator to blur images, but actually any old photo editing app that has blur functionality will do the trick ( Pixlr seems like a solid Android option, and Snapseed for iOS is fine if you’re looking for free options too.) ). Sparks takes BB8’s image , blurs it, and sets it as the background. The end result is wallpaper that is unoccupied but still expresses the image he wanted. If you’ve been struggling to find wallpapers that you like, this is a pretty easy way to make your own.
