Save Some Money by Drinking Water During Lunch
Soda, tea, or another drink during lunch is a great way to pamper yourself in the middle of the day. Ultimately, however, this drink can cost you some serious money, especially if you eat a lot outside the home.
At the time, it might not seem like spending $ 2 on a fountain, but it really pays off if you go to lunch five days a week. This is why Jeremy Hartley of MoneyNing recommends drinking water at lunch, wherever you go. Most places will provide you with free water or a small glass of water for the fountain. Not only does this save you some money when you eat out, but it is guaranteed to keep you hydrated. In his experiments, Hartley was able to save enough money monthly to cover a full tank of gas.
You don’t have to completely cut out non-water drinks for this to be beneficial. The key here is saving money on just one meal each day. However, if you really want to drink something special, buy it in bulk from the store and bring it with you during or after dinner. This will save you some money anyway. Better yet, bring lunch from home and save even more .
