Pale Mountain Desktop
It’s been a while since we introduced the desktop from our friend Jörgermeister , and this Windows installation ranks first . It’s clean, well organized, doesn’t go overboard with widgets, and just looks good. Here’s how he did it.
Here Joergermeister runs Windows 10, so you’ll need Windows too for this to look its own way. He also used Rainmeter to get most of this work, so if you’re not familiar with him, check out our Rainmeter guide before you start.
Here’s what you need to get started:
- Blanc wallpaper by Slurpaza
- WhiteNoir Visual Theme for Windows by Neiio
- Tool setting and monitoring system for Rainmeter for Windows
- Simplic theme for Rainmeter to create a clock
- Kantas skin for Rainmeter for player and renderer
- IFlat skin for Rainmeter for image galleries (currently Zombie Superman )
- Ecqlipse 2 icon pack to replace taskbar icons
That’s all. To find out more about how everything came together, or to ask your questions if you have any trouble making it, go to Jörgermeister’s blog (link below) and, if you don’t read German, click Google Translate to see it’s all in action, complete with its dual-monitor setup (the image above is just its main display). Otherwise, check out the Flickr link below for components, and let him know what we’ve sent you!
