AirParrot Remote Controls Chromecast and Apple TV AirParrot Functions From Your Phone
iOS: AirParrot is nifty software that adds AirPlay and Chromecast support to pretty much everything in OS X. While there are now built-in mirroring options, AirParrot Remote again makes this AirParrot software useful by letting you control it from your phone. …
With AirParrot Remote, you can create playlists from a variety of content and control what is displayed on your phone. You can also control the mouse and keyboard on your computer from the AirParrot Remote app. Basically, it allows you to start streaming media from your computer, leave the room, and then control it all from your phone. Ultimately it’s a pretty good way to manage the media you stream from your phone, albeit a bit more expensive considering the iOS app is $ 6.99 and the desktop app is $ 12.99. It worked great in our tests, though, so if you’re looking to fill that gap, AirParrot does a pretty good job. If you’re wondering how it works, the 9to5Mac demo video above will show you how it works.
