Three Fonts to Use Instead of Arial to Save Printer Ink
If you type a lot, Arial can use up your ink much faster than others. Here are three fonts you should use.
While it might seem like the only difference between fonts is style, some fonts use a lot more ink. According to Patrick Austin of Consumer Reports, Arial is one of the worst offenders:
… we got 27 percent more mileage using Times New Roman rather than Arial, the default font in many browsers. Calibri and Century Gothic also surpassed Arial.
Previously we mentioned Gothic Century , but now you can add Calibri and classic Times New Roman font in your list, saving ink. Austin also recommends Ecofont, which is specifically designed to save as much ink as possible while maintaining legibility.
