Pre-Order the New Echo Dot TV Without Echo or Fire From Amazon
The two new Amazon Alexa devices look pretty neat , but Amazon has limited the way to buy the Echo Dot . Here’s how to get around this limitation.
As Android Police points out, Amazon says you need to pre-order the Echo Dot either on an existing Amazon Echo or on a Fire TV device with voice commands enabled. However, if you have an Amazon Shopping app , you can follow these steps to order it:
- Open the Amazon Shopping app and sign in to your account.
- Tap the microphone icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Say “add Echo Dot to cart”.
- When the results appear, click “Add to Cart” next to the echo point.
- Continue the checkout process.
