Make Grilled Cheese Rolls for Easy Snacking or Dipping in Soup
In my opinion, tomato soup exists mainly as a seasoning for grilled cheese sandwiches, and I like to maximize the sandwich dipping ability. I usually cut mine into strips, but these Damn Delicious Grilled Cheese Rolls are an even better option.
They require the same ingredients as any other grilled cheese – bread, butter, and cheese – but the bread is flattened and rolled around a delicious cheese of your choice. Once rolled, sauté in a couple tablespoons of oil until completely crispy. The result is a crunchy, buttery, sticky “fried” cheese mass that you want to dip and eat.
