Inbox Now Tracks Related Event Emails, Saves Links to Inbox, and More.
The Google Inbox Experiment is more than just email. Inbox will now collect all your Calendar event related emails into one batch. You can also save links from the Internet to your Inbox. Plus, it extracts stories from newsletter emails.
The new set of calendars works the same as now . All emails you receive related to a specific Google Calendar event will be grouped for easy access.
The newsletter features stories from newsletters you subscribed to (like the Lifehacker newsletter !) So you can see at a glance which stories are worth reading.
Finally, Google introduced a new extension ( again ) called Save to Inbox . This button allows you to save a link from the Internet as an item in your Inbox. Since Inbox treats your email more like a to-do list , this makes sense. You can already add reminders that you will need to deal with later, and now you can save the important link so that you don’t forget to do something with it later.
