Rest of the Day: YouTube Adds 360-Degree Live Video Support
I’m amazed at the possibilities of YouTube’s new 360-degree live streaming. You can put on a virtual reality headset and immediately jump into the event while you are at home in your pajamas. I will never leave the apartment again! Admittedly, it doesn’t make much of a difference.
- YouTube is adding support for 360-degree live streaming with spatial audio . The possibilities are very interesting! Consider witnessing a live performance or performance through Google Cardboard. This may seem like a silly novelty (and for now it may be), but from a perceptual point of view, it feels like instant teleportation. Someday all newsgroups will be like this.
