Use Your Raspberry Pi to Add Alexa Voice Search to Your Old Phone
Building a small DIY Amazon Echo-like device with a Raspberry Pi is a great project, but one drawback is that it requires a button to start up for the service to listen to you. Instructables user MisterM decided to make this button an old phone.
The MisterM Guide uses the British Trimphone style, but with some messing around you can use his guide as a basis for any retro phone, as long as it has a built-in speaker. As you would expect, this will take a lot of effort, but the end result means you can pick up the phone and then ask Alexa for whatever you want.
