Make a Raspberry Pi Powered Remote Camera That Tracks Weather, Temperature, and More
We know that you can turn your Raspberry Pi into a cheap surveillance system, and that displaying images on a small screen isn’t a problem either . Adafruit has combined all of this together with some sensors to create a system where you can control the camera and data on one Raspberry Pi from another Raspberry Pi.
Essentially, one Raspberry Pi acts as a surveillance camera and temperature sensor, while the other Raspberry Pi acts as a remote display. You can view the feed from the camera using the touch screen, which allows you to switch to the schedule with one touch. As you’d expect, you’ll need a pair of Raspberry Pis, a touchscreen, a temperature sensor, a Raspberry Pi camera, and a pair of Wi-Fi dongles. Once you’re done with your project, you can easily get the live feed from the camera to the Pi. This is a pretty simple little project when all is said and done. Visit Adafruit for a complete guide.
