Keep Your Home Tidy With the ABC Rule
If your family is like mine, items may mysteriously move to the wrong rooms. Eliminate this persistent problem by remembering the alphabet: always carry.
Before leaving the room, check to see if something else belongs so you can grab it and move it.
I don’t know where I heard this advice, but ever since I learned it, I’ve always had something in my hands, and I clean on the go. (And, yes, I know “wearing” has a different meaning when it comes to weapons, but that’s not what we mean.)
