What’s the Fastest Way to Chill a Can of Beer?
There’s nothing better than having a cold beer on a hot summer day, but what if your six-bottle pack is hot? You must find a way to make this beer frosty so as not to face the horror of a warm drink. That’s why we’re trying several ways to chill your beer quickly.
We gave ourselves ten minutes to pour the coldest cheapest beer. We first tried a simple ice bucket, heavily salted to speed up the melting of the ice, and then we wrapped the jar in a damp paper towel and put it in the freezer for the same amount of time. Unsurprisingly the ice worked, but it was surprising how cool the damp paper towel was.
