Facebook Introduces Quote Sharing to Quickly Share Snippets of Text
At its F8 event today, Facebook announced the rollout of a new feature that will allow you to easily share snippets of text along with a link to an article on Facebook.
Instead of copying and pasting a block of text, you’ll soon be able to select some text and then hit the Share Quote button to send the highlighted text along with a link to the article on your Facebook page. Amazon Kindle is the only launch partner right now, but the exchange of quotes is likely to expand to other sites in the future.
