Plan Your Work in Five Steps to Get You Through Your Insanely Long Work Weeks

Some days (or weeks, or months) you just have a ton of work to do. Here’s a strategy to help you stay sane during this time.

William Harris writes in Fast Company about how he manages 80 or 100 hour work weeks, sometimes working from 8 am to 2 am or later Monday through Saturday:

The first step in the morning is to do simple exercises as a warm-up. The second stage, from noon to 5:30, is for more challenging tasks – and coffee. After a quick lunch, we return to meaningless tasks and then hard work again. Then, after midnight, try brainstorming and other creative activities.
