Tab Organizer Groups Your Open Chrome Tabs by URL
Chrome: If you keep many tabs open in your browser window, it can be easy to find one when you need it. Tab Organizer is a Chrome extension that can help you serve them better.
After you download the extension, simply click its button in the Chrome menu and all sites with the same URL will be grouped together. You can also pin certain tabs to keep them from interfering:
Use an extension by clicking its button and it will reorder the tabs in the current window, ignoring pinned tabs.
If you don’t want to change the order of certain tabs, you can pin them before clicking the button to keep their current position.
To pin, just right-click the tab and select pin. If you’re in the habit of keeping multiple windows open at once, this is a useful tool to help you stay organized and easily find what you’re looking for. I’ve found this to come in handy as well if you’re doing research. For example, I save my Google searches while researching a topic so that when I need to come back to it, I know where to find it.
