Add Greenery to Your Shower With This DIY Plant Container
Plants can be found almost everywhere in your home, even in your bathroom . If you don’t have a wall or room for plants in your bathroom, add them to your shower with this simple flower pot made from a shower stall.
This project will only take a few minutes from start to finish if you have the necessary materials at your fingertips. If you don’t, they can be easily picked up at your local hardware store. Here’s what you need:
- Shower cubicle with suction cups and drain holes (like this one from Amazon).
- Moist sphagnum moss (less heavy and dirty than soil)
- Fertilizers
- Your favorite plant (well- suited plants growing in tropical forests, such as Rhipsalis )
Line the bottom of the basket with moss. Brush off as much soil from your plant as possible before placing it in the basket and adding moss around it until you reach the edge of the basket. Add fertilizer and install on the shower wall.
