Create a Smart Mirror With Gesture Controls
Smart mirrors are surprisingly easy to put together with a spare screen and two-way mirror , but master craftsman Tobias Weiss goes a little further by adding gesture controls.
The project here is not exactly cheap and not easy, but quite elegant. Weiss uses an old computer he had, a 28-inch monitor, and a special case for everything. The gesture control technology comes from the Leap motion controller . As far as the information displayed, this is just a simple web page that acts like a HUD running inside Chromium.
