Tell Your IPhone to Notify You When It Connects to Your Car’s Bluetooth
If you are like me, you go on business, but when you return home, you realize that there is at least one thing you forgot to do. If you’re an iPhone user, you can set up a location-based reminder that comes in handy in situations like this.
How-to Geek breaks down functionality, but it’s actually pretty simple. In the Reminders app, add a new reminder and tap the details icon. Here you can assign a specific task, including “Remind me at a location”. This feature gives you the ability to specify a specific location, but you can also choose to get in or get out of the car. If your phone connects to your car via Bluetooth, you will receive this reminder every time you pair your phone.
It’s also helpful for things you might forget to do when you get home. For example, if you have a bad habit of leaving your keys in the door, you can set a reminder not to do so when you get out of your car. If you leave your garage door open, set a reminder to close when you get in your car. Check it off on your list and then you don’t have to worry about whether you did it or not.
Again, this is a fairly simple option, but useful. For more details, check out the full instructions at the link below.
