PieMessage Brings IMessage to Android Using Mac As Server
Android / OS X: For those in the Apple world, iMessage is a part of everyday life. As soon as you jump off the ship, you are the SUNMAN. PieMessage lets you keep using iMessage on Android, but you’ll need a Mac with a server to use it.
PieMessage isn’t exactly a quick fix. You will need to download the OS X server and set up a Java web server. The developer, Eric Chi, calls the project a “prototype supercarf” so don’t expect it to work right out of the box. That said, given that cross-platform compatibility isn’t a priority for iMessage, it’s nice to see someone trying.
