Workspace on the Wall by the Chalkboard
On Flickr, Razan posted her workplace where she goes about her daily work, her passion (photography) and of course the place where she relaxes. The space also needs to be doubled as her bedroom, so the space is premium, but take a look at this chalkboard wall. Here are some more photos.
First, let’s hear Razan describe his workspace. She said:
My home office has a triple role to play: day job (IT), part time job (photography), and bedroom. Dual screens is my remote workstation for IT / software analyst work. On the left is the Dell All-in-One – my photo editing computer. I am an interior designer and architectural photographer. I have my Canon photo printer under my IKEA desk. My DSLR and some equipment are hidden in a drawer. The rest has been put aside in the corner for now. In the background is a newly drawn chalkboard, which I really like.
Aside from being large enough to house a beautiful office, the bedroom is all good use of space. The IKEA Markus desk chair is good too, and while she doesn’t mention it, it’s pretty comfy and not overly expensive (in fact, you guys loved it ).
Here’s another shot of the space, facing the main desktop and that beautiful Logitech headset:
And here’s another shot of the wide side of the wall with the chalkboard you don’t see in the first shot. Overall, this is a great setup, and using a chalkboard for quick notes is obviously something we can appreciate .
If you like Razan’s workspace, be sure to head over to Flickr and let her know you’ve been digging into her setup from the link below.
If you have your own workspace to show off, share it with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool . Make sure all photos you add are at least 1280×720 in size. And adhering to the 16: 9 aspect ratio helps too! Include a little text about what you used, how you came up with the design, and any other important details. If your smart organization and good design flair are striking, you could be the next workplace ambassador!
