Polymail has been in beta for a long time, but now the app for Mac and iPhone is publicly available. At first glance, both apps take inspiration from the now defunct Mailbox , and they are now packed with a standard set of swipe gestures to organize your mail. Beyond that, Polymail also has a send later feature, snooze, an cancel button, an unsubscribe button, and an unusually robust email tracking system that shows you when recipients are viewing their mail.
As with other email applications of this type, you need to register for a Polymail account, and the permissions you grant are quite extensive, so it will work as expected, usually when connected to your calendar and contacts along with your email account. … Polymail is also slightly limited, only supporting Google, Outlook, Office 365, and iCloud. That said, if you’re still hungry for Mailbox, Polymail is one of the closest apps, at least in terms of design.
