Giant Robot Desktop
Giacomo’s Windows 10 desktop doesn’t have a ton of skins or moving parts, but when combined with this wallpaper, it’s pretty dramatic. Here’s how he arranged it all, and how you can do it too.
Even though it’s Windows 10, Rainmeter still works great on it. If you’re unfamiliar with Rainmeter, here’s a handy getting started guide (albeit a little outdated) to help you create your first custom desktop.
Here’s what you need:
- Wallpaper
- Tool setting and monitoring system for Rainmeter for Windows
- Cleartext skin for Rainmeter for the music player
- Elegance 2 Skin for Rainmeter to display time and date
- Rainmeter Lines 2 Skin for System Monitors
- Night Shade Clock Skin for Rainmeter for Analog Clock
That’s all. Not too many skins, and of course, if you don’t need three desktop clocks, you can skip one or two of them to create your own look. If you like the look, head over to Giacomo’s Flickr page (link below) or his personal blog to let him know you love his work!
