Google Docs, Slides and Sheets Now Support Split Screen on IPad
iPad. One of the main benefits of split-screen multitasking on the iPad was the ability to write and browse the Internet at the same time. However, applications must be updated to support this feature. Finally, Google has released updates for Docs, Slides, and Sheets to do just that.
All three apps have Split View and Slide Over support. Slide Over allows you to briefly access another app by dragging it off the edge of the screen. Split View lets you run two apps side-by-side, which is a pretty attractive feature in office suites. This is a simple update, but very useful for iPad users.
