Find the Best Place to Buy School Supplies Based on Your Credit Card Reward
It’s time to stock up on school supplies and you can be rewarded for your spending. Birch reward management site has released a free tool to help you maximize your school rewards.
We have already mentioned Birch . They are like a budgeting site for credit card bonus points. They help you keep track of your cards to make sure you always use the best one, depending on what you buy and where you shop. Their tool works the same way. You do not need to enter personal information. You enter your zip code and the types of credit cards you have, and the tool displays the best online stores and brick-and-mortar stores to shop based on the rewards you receive back.
The tool requires you to subscribe to Birch, but as founder Alex Cohen points out, they don’t require any personal data and don’t do anything with other data. He told us by email.
We do not actually use any data from this tool. This is a really good marketing campaign for us. We created it because we used the data we had (stores and what you earn on cards) and wanted to help people get back to school. In return, we hope that some people will subscribe to Birch, as this is the minimum barrier to entry (no personal data required).
