Use AppCleaner to Return Any Mac App to Its Default Settings
We’re fans of AppCleaner as an app uninstaller , but on How-To Geek, they point out that free software is also useful for resetting apps to their default state.
All you have to do is download and install the AppCleaner , then find the app you want to return to its default state. This means that you will delete all settings, data, and login information. When you select the application you want, a pop-up list box appears. Here, deselect the actual app file and then delete everything else. This removes all of the various app settings, so they are restored to their defaults. You can do this manually by deleting certain files in the library folder, but AppCleaner makes the process easier. Go to How-To Geek for a more detailed guide.
