How to Get a Withdrawn Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Back
Earlier this month, Samsung announced the recall of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, and this review is now official. Here’s what to do with your ( potentially explosive ) device.
The review has been formally filed with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for any Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones sold prior to September 15, 2016. The danger, in their own words: “The lithium-ion battery in Galaxy Note7 smartphones can overheat. and catch on fire, presenting a serious burn hazard to consumers. “
You may receive a refund or replacement, and CPSC encourages customers to contact their wireless carrier or the retailer from which they purchased the phone.

You can also call Samsung at 844-365-6197 or visit their website where you can enter your IMEI number to make sure you meet the criteria (however, they will still ask you to contact your carrier).
