Will It Be Sous Vide? Let’s Pick a Different Theme!
Today is Monday, which means it’s time for you to pick another crazy sous-video adventure for me. The past week got out of hand at its best and ended up cooking six hot pockets with my Anova .
Obviously, my attempts to control the crowd have failed and I would still like to try pork legs the other day, but I’m sure we’ll get there eventually. In addition to your great comments, I’ve also received some great emails with suggestions for topics. I love all the reviews (and apologize if I haven’t answered you yet), but the best way to experiment with your pet is to leave a comment so others can vote for you. (I can’t do it without stars!) Some of the topics I’ve received in email include:
- Beef tongue: Yes, please.
- Meat + Vegetables: A couple of people asked for a food-in-a-bag situation where the main dish and the side dish are cooked at the same time. This can be fun.
- Various puddings: rice pudding, bread pudding, flan, etc.
- Liver: Maybe with onions?
