Protect Shower Soap From Limescale and Mildew With Homemade Tea Tree Oil Spray
After you’ve taken the time to get a good shower , do your best to keep it the same. Made with tea tree oil, this after-shower spray will keep you clean and free from mildew.
Tea tree oil is an essential oil obtained from the leaves of the tea tree (not to be confused with the common tea plant). It can kill bacteria and fungus and is often used to treat skin infections, fungal infections, lice, scabies, and athlete’s foot. That’s why Brittney Morgan of Apartment Therapy thinks it’s a great ingredient for a homemade after-shower spray. Take an empty spray bottle and mix 20 drops of tea tree oil with two cups of distilled white vinegar and two teaspoons of non-castile-based liquid dish soap. Spray a small amount every day after showering so you don’t have to worry about clumps or unpleasant odors. You can even leave the spray in the shower so you never forget.
