Rest of the Day: Improved Duplicate File Management on Google Drive
Google Drive can now more easily manage duplicate files. Previously, if you uploaded a file, edited it, and then uploaded it back to Google Drive, you would have multiple files with the same name. It will now recognize that you have just added a newer version and will save the change history.
- Or you can just save them as separate files. This feature will be available to all users over the next two weeks. [Google Apps Updates]

- Instagram is getting rid of photocards because no one uses them. They’ve also added a new low-light mode , although it’s only available when you post an Instagram story (ephemeral, Snapchat-like images that expire after 24 hours). [Mashable and The Next Web]
- The upcoming multiprocessing version of Firefox is reportedly 400-700 percent more responsive when loading large pages. It seems to be a lot of interest. Mozilla has completed testing with 1 percent of Firefox users and will now increase deployments to 10 percent. [TechCrunch]
