Airmail for IPhone Adds Undo Send, Smart Notifications, and More
iOS: Airmail is one of the best email apps for iOS if you don’t mind spending a little time setting it up. Today, the app is getting a lot of new features that expand the customization options.
One feature that users of the Airmail for Mac app will surely appreciate is the new “Undo Send” option, which allows you to cancel sending an email within the first few seconds of sending it if you accidentally hit the send button. More interesting is the many new notification options that allow you to customize notifications in many different ways.
First, these are smart notifications that only try to send notifications when you receive an email from contacts, and don’t send notifications for newsletters or anything like that. There is also a notification scheduler that allows you to set specific Do Not Disturb times for each email account. Finally, there is a “location-based notifications” option, which means you can set it up to only receive email notifications when you are in a specific location, such as your office. There are some other minor improvements in this update as well, including follow-up reminders, disabling notifications for each contact, Day One and Ulysses integration, and more.
