The exploded battery was first reported by the Yonhab news agency in South Korea, and although only 35 cases were reported, Samsung decided it was best to recall the battery . It is unclear right now exactly how the recall will work, but Samsung says more details will appear in the coming weeks.
Talking to Recode , AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile say they are working on plans and replacement proposals. Verizon waives restocking fees entirely if you want to skip the review and get a completely different phone.
