This Bun Dough Is the Starting Point for Making Custom Made Breakfast Buns
I love pastries for breakfast, but they have to be savory . Making your own has always seemed overwhelming, but this bun recipe from Extra Crispy is not only super easy but super customizable.
Click the link below to see three great flavor suggestions (like saag paneer), but the basic dough can be filled with just about anything you can imagine. Simply mix a packet of instant yeast with 2/3 cup warm milk and a pinch of sugar. Set this aside and whisk 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt. Make a well in the center of the flour, pour in the yeast mixture, chop two eggs and add 5 1/2 tablespoons of diced cold butter. After that, you just need to knead a little and rest, and then you are ready to add your flavors.
