Samsung Stops Launching Galaxy Note 7s, Get Your Money Back Now

We have warned that you should return your Galaxy Note 7s for a while . Since then, some replacement devices have even exploded , reportedly causing Samsung to cease production. This is a good sign that you should trade yours for something else.

Samsung has temporarily halted all production of the Galaxy Note 7 line while it figures out what’s wrong with its device, NBC News reports via Korean news agency Yonhap. For those who don’t follow the news of Android phones closely, this is unprecedented. While there have been some issues with exploding phones and recalls before, they have never been severe enough to stop production for the entire line.

This recall also resulted in US carriers ditching the device. All four major carriers accept unconditional exchange even for already replaced Note 7s . AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon have also stopped all sales of the device .

At this point, the only safe recommendation is to just buy another device. You can still check our Galaxy Note 7 replacement guide here , but we recommend skipping the replacement and getting a direct refund. Until Samsung figures out the problem and resumes production, there is no guarantee that even a replacement unit will not contain the same flaw.
