Rest of the Day: Facebook Adds Instant Games to Messenger and News Feed
If your time spent browsing Facebook used to be too productive, Facebook is adding fun new ways to have a fun day. You can play the new Instant Games with your friends on Messenger or the regular Facebook app.
- There are 17 games available on Facebook , such as Pac-Man, Galaga and Words With Friends, and they are all written in HTML5, which means you don’t need to install anything (but you do need an internet connection). - With regard to other news, Lyft Now tell you the approximate price before you book the trip. The fare includes all expected costs such as taxes and fees, but may vary slightly depending on whether your journey takes longer than expected or if you change destination en route. [Lyft Blog]
- The Google Feature Photos screensaver is now available for macOS. This is the same photo screensaver you can use with your Chromecast to show a slideshow of photos on your TV – this time on your Mac’s screens. The screensavers are finally back. [9to5Mac]
- Amazon is reportedly working on a version of its Echo device with a 7-inch touchscreen and improved speakers. Sounds neat – and expensive. [Bloomberg]
