Making Custom Transparent Labels With Packing Tape
Transparent decals look great on windshields and other transparent surfaces, but printing in-house costs very little. With a little elbow grease, you can make customized clear labels for a fraction of the price.
You will need access to a laser printer (inkjet printers are not suitable) to print the label on a plain sheet of paper. You will also need clear packing tape, a bowl of water, a spoon, and scissors. Make sure your printed label does not exceed the size of the packing tape.
Place the tape on the label and use a spoon to smooth it out. Cut it open with scissors and immerse it in a bowl of water for a few minutes. Once it gets wet, wipe the paper with your finger and let the decal dry. You will have a clear sticker ready to go.
