Travel site Wanderbat has compiled a list of 60 airports that are most likely to experience delays, along with the average length of delays. For convenience, the personal finance site Frugal Travel Guy has collected the top 20 in the form of a list:

- Chicago Midway: 23% of flights delayed, average 17 minutes delay
- Newark Liberty: 21% of flights delayed, average 12 minutes delay
- Syracuse Hancock: 20% of flights delayed, average 17 minutes delay
- Palm Beach: 18% flight delays, average 8 minutes delay
- Chicago O’Hare: 18% of flights delayed, with an average delay of 11 minutes
- La Guardia: 18% of flights are delayed, with an average delay of 10 minutes
- Baltimore / Washington: 18% of flights are delayed, with an average delay of 10 minutes
- Lambert-St. Louis: 18% of flights are delayed, with an average delay of 10 minutes
- Hobby Houston: 17% of flights are delayed, with an average delay of 8 minutes.
