Restart Chrome Instantly Using a Bookmark
Restarting Chrome isn’t exactly rocket science, but it does take a few more clicks than necessary. So, Digital Inspiration has created a bookmarklet that will do this for you.
The fastest way to restart Chrome is to specify chrome://restart in the address bar and press Enter. It follows that all you have to do to add a restart button is to bookmark this URL. On any page, press Ctrl + D (Cmd + D on Mac) to bookmark the page. Then click the Edit button and paste chrome://restart in the URL field. Click the Save button and you’re done. If you frequently restart Chrome because you are testing something or just want to unload processes to RAM , this is an easy way to do it.
