This Video Shows How Protein Strengthens Muscle

All the curls in the world will not improve your biceps unless you are consuming enough protein . But how does the food you eat benefit your strengths? This video shows you what happens in your body when you take a post workout shake.

Protein is made up of amino acids that are needed to repair broken muscle fibers. (Your muscles, such as the muscle tissue in steaks or chicken nuggets, are made of protein.) These amino acids also help activate satellite cells in your muscles, helping to “convert” the muscle into a stronger version of itself.
