Rest of the Day: WhatsApp Now Supports GIFs
You can now send and create GIFs using Facebook’s popular chat app, WhatsApp. If you want to accentuate your conversation with your dog on a skateboard or something from your own film, now you can. About this and much more in today’s news.
- WhatsApp now supports GIFs. You can create your own six second GIFs with the camera and convert iOS Live Photos, or just search in the Giphy and Tenor app. This feature is now available on iOS, with an Android version coming soon.
- Microsoft will add a virtual trackpad to Windows 10. This feature is currently available to Windows Insiders testing beta software. The purpose of such a thing is a little confusing, but you should be able to control an external monitor with a Windows tablet as if you were using a mouse. [Windows Blog]
- OnePlus will unveil new hardware on November 15th. The company announced on Twitter that the Snapdragon 821 processor is “meeting you” in a device they appear to be calling the T-7. The Snapdragon 821 is the same processor found in the Google Pixel. [OnePlus Twitter via TechCrunch ]
