Convert Broken Wii U Controller Into a Classic Game Emulator With Raspberry Pi
We all know well that the Raspberry Pi is a fantastic game emulation machine , but sudomod user banjokazooie takes it up a notch by using a Wii U controller as a screen and a combination of controllers for his little DIY system.
All in all, this project is simply reworking the skin, buttons, and analog sticks of the Wii U, and then replacing everything else. This includes cramming a Raspberry Pi inside, a new sound card, a battery, and an improved HDMI display. Wii U controls are connected to the Pi using Teensy 2.0 by default. This is a pretty reasonable use if your Wii U controller is broken or you just don’t need it. You will find some build information and images on sudomod.
